ALA FORTE is a food supplement in capsule form containing Alpha Lipoic Acid and Chromium Picolinate. Alpha lipoic acid ('ALA') is a fatty acid whose main role is a strong antioxidant action that helps to counteract the onset of cellular damage to the nerve cell caused by free radicals that speed up ageing. In particular, it protects the cell both internally and externally, promoting its well-being and enabling more efficient transmission of the nerve impulse that is essential at the neuro-muscular level. Due to its strong anti-oxidant action, lipoic acid assists and amplifies other antioxidants by enhancing their effect against free radicals, even after stress due to sporting activity.
